Do you offer appointments in person and online?

Yes, we offer in-person appointments on Fridays, and online appointments during the week. Our office is located inside Counseling of Southwest Florida, in Naples, FL.

How do I book an appointment or ask questions about your practice?

Do you accept insurance?

No, our services are not covered by insurance; however, many clients choose to work alongside their medical provider to obtain insurance-covered lab testing to bring to our appointments.

How often do I need follow-up appointments?

Follow-up timing depends on your individual needs. For some clients, we recommend an initial check-in after two weeks to ensure herbs are well tolerated and working as intended. Most clients, however, benefit from adjustments every four weeks until their goals are achieved, followed by a maintenance plan.

Can I communicate with Carmen between appointments?

Yes, during the protocol timeframe, you'll have unlimited email/text access for questions, support, and progress updates.

Do you order labs?

Yes, as part of our Microbiome and Gut Health consultation services, we recommend testing when appropriate, such as microbiome sequencing, intestinal permeability, food intolerances, among others. We may also recommend standard blood test panels, such as CBC, thyroid, liver and kidney markers, lipid, blood glucose/A1C, nutrients, among others, to provide a more complete view of your health.

Energetic Herbal Consultations don't require labs; but, they may be recommended in certain cases to further support your plan.

Does Carmen combine Herbal, Gut Health and Microbiome consultations with holistic nutrition?

Yes, holistic nutrition is embedded into all of our services rather than offered as a stand-alone service. We believe that food is medicine and should be at the core of every successful wellness plan.

Will I need a lot of supplements?

No, we prioritize the most impactful supplements to avoid "supplement overwhelm". Each recommendation is purposeful, clearly explained, and used for a defined period of time. Clients typically get fewer supplements with us than with previous practitioners.

What are your confidentiality practices?

We are not required by law to follow HIPAA practices, but we opt to maintain the privacy and security of all your information with the same standards. See our Privacy Policy.

Where do the herbs come from?

Chinese herbs come from Chinese Herbal Pharmacies operating in the US. Granules are tested by GMP-certified manufacturers for microbes and heavy metals such as Lead, Cadmium, Mercury and Arsenic. Granules are also tested for organochlorine pesticides such as DDT and BHC using only the most stringent, certified testing techniques. All testing standards exceed the required standards of China, Taiwan, and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) for heavy metals. 

Western and Ayurvedic herbs come from small organic farms or are sustainably harvested in the wild from reputable sources based in the US. All herbs are certified organic or pesticide-free and have passed quality control testing in GMP-certified laboratories. 

What is the return/refund policy?

We take your investment seriously, and we hope you value our investment of time and resources we dedicate to your well-being. Due to the nature of our services and products, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds, unless specified in writing

What are the shipping costs for herbs?

Shipping costs vary and are calculated directly by our distributors. The herbs available in our stock in Naples, FL can be picked up by local clients or shipment is calculated via USPS or UPS.

What is the appointment cancellation policy?

Less than 24 hours cancelations or no shows will incur a $25 cancellation fee.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We currently accept Zelle payments to info@holisticharmonyllc.com or credit cards thru the secured Square platform. A 3.5% surcharge is added on credit card payments.
